Since 1921, Italian company Alessi has been known for its innovative and creative designs. It attracts some of the world’s foremost architects and designers to create its distinctive range of products for the home.

La Via Lattea, the excellent project done by the husband and wife team of Gian Franco and Anna Gasparini presented in 2009 for Officina Alessi, was the result of research on the subject of cheese knives that eventually led to a series that is literally on the edge of being professional grade. The Milky Way Minor series takes the lessons learned from La Via Lattea to produce a series of cheese knives and servers ideally suited for everyday use.

This cheese knife is perfect for serving hard cheese such as Parmesan, Cheddar or Romano.
