The Kastehelmi range of glassware was originally designed by Toikka in 1964. The idea of using droplets of glass as decoration came to Toikka when he was thinking of ways of covering the joint marks left on the surface of pressed glass pieces by the production process.
To celebrate Toikka’s 50th, Iittala has reintroduced a selection of the most popular pieces in 2010. These small apple green plates are suitable as a side or entree plate, or for serving cakes and desserts.
