Aldo Rossi has been acclaimed as one of the greatest Italian architects of the twentieth century. Suitably, the La Cupola range was undoubtedly inspired by the famous domed rooftops of Italy.

Since his passing in 1977, Alessi has continued to release Rossi’s designs, with the La Cupola Espresso maker released in 1988. This stylish new all black version was released in 2010.
